There is no direct hiking path between Clervaux and Ettelbruck, so I was working on one with connecting many trails and bike roads (PC Past Cyclable), the goal is always the same maximize the nature 🌱 experience and reduce the amount of urban areas we have to pass through.
Max elevation: 479 m
Total climbing: 1002 m
Total time: 03:49:36
This trail I benchmarked come out quite well, just need one more detour at Lellingen for more forest immersion 🌲🍄🐿️.
The first 19km section took me only 4 hours, this part is not difficult, with about 500m overall elevation gain.
The plan is to improve on it by adding an extra 2-3kms then have lunch at the Kautenbach campsite around 14:00 then continue with the next section.

As of the next section, we could do the Lee Trail but that would be too rough for 1 day especially after lunch so this part will be experimental as I want to come up with an easier about 25km trail back to Ettelbruck. Those who want of course can call it a day and stay for couple of extra beers at the campsite for the rest of the afternoon 😆
The plan is 25+25km, moved to 2027 spring.
